CONSISTENT HIGH QUALITY

All Cellular Additives modified Azodicarbonamide (AZO) products contain AZO made by the "Ammonia Process" which results in a cleaner product with a more consistent particle size than product made by the "Urea Process".

CONVENTIONAL PRODUCTS OF CELLULAR ADDITIVES

Cellular Additives offers products with conventional activators like Zinc Oxide. ZnO can form salts with cyanuric acid which is generated during the decomposition of Azo. This salt can stick to the pipe, sheet and profile tools and cause plate-out: therefore the tools will have to be cleaned more often.

PREMIUM PRODUCTS OF CELLULAR ADDITIVES

All Cellular Additives premium products use organic activators. They are more desirable for most manufacturing processes as they do not cause plate-out and make longer production runs possible. The organic activators also produce a more consistent cell structure and less yellowing. The more consistent cell structure improves the impact strength of the finished product. The increased impact strength is of particular importance for the production of co-extruded cellular core pipe according to ASTM-F891.

CUSTOMIZATION

The decomposition temperature range of Forte-Cell products is 142 - 210°C (295 - 419°F). Cellular Additives' products can be custom made to achieve any desired decomposition temperature in this range. The product line chart shows some of the specific products which have been used by Cellular Additives' customers. Cellular Additives products can be supplied as powders, pellets, or liquids. The pellets contain lubricants or impact modifiers as carriers.

MIXTURES OF BLOWING AGENTS WITH OTHER ADDITIVES

Cellular Additives also supplies blends of blowing agents with lubricants, fillers, processing aids and impact modifiers.

PVC

Cellular Additives specializes in rigid PVC applications but can also supply blowing agents for certain Polypropylene and Polyethylene products.

Cellular Additives can help with formulations for pipe, profiles, and Wood Plastic Composites (WPCs).
